WORSHIP TRACK
The WORSHIP CREATIVE ARTS TRACK provides students with the musical, administrative and technical skills to serve as worship and creative team leaders in the local church. This track includes SEVERAL offsite VISITS TO various LOCAL churches REPRESENTING A BROAD RANGE OF WORSHIP STYLES.

Learn how to produce a demo of a full worship song
Learn how to manage band members and rehearse efficiently
Connect with local worship leaders/creative arts teams and attend various size/style church worship services.

Signal Flow and Troubleshooting

What is the WORSHIP Track?
The Worship Track is designed for musicians and content creators who want to serve the church. Students spend the semester writing songs, recording music, performing live, leading worship songs, collaborating with fellow creatives, and learning from working industry professionals in Nashville.
What skills will I learn in the WORSHIP Track?
Students develop practical skills in leading worship which includes set preparation, rehearsing a band and coordinating with technical support. Students who are interested in the creative arts will develop skills which will allow them to create content for various uses within the church. The program emphasizes hands-on experience and mentoring with church veterans.
Do I need prior musical experience to join the WORSHIP Track?
Previous experience is helpful, but students don't need to be seasoned professionals to thrive at CMC. What matters most is a willingness to learn, and a desire to grow through collaboration, mentorship, and real-world experiences.
What career paths will the WORSHIP Track prepare me for?
The Worship Track can help prepare students for opportunities to serve the church in multiple capacities including worship leading, mentoring volunteers and reliable engagement with tech crews.
Will I learn songwriting, recording, and performance skills?
Absolutely. These three areas support the skills necessary to function well as a Worship leader. central to the Artist Track experience. Students receive instruction and practical experience in writing original worship music, arranging other songs for church adaptation and leading worship in live settings.
Will I have opportunities to LEAD WORSHIP during the program?
Yes! Worship students will lead corporate singing on a weekly basis and host an end-of-semester worship service. and be featured on the Road Tour. The entire semester experience culminates in the Road Tour featuring songs written by students in the worship track.
Can I build a professional portfolio while enrolled in the program?
Yes. Students leave CMC with original songs, recordings, live worship leading experience, professional media assets and practical experiences that can be used to build a strong professional portfolio.
