BUSINESS TRACK

Students in the BUSINESS TRACK manage a talent roster of 10-14 student artists during the semester, produce live eventS, plan and execute the end of semester road tour and interact with professionals in the Nashville entertainment industry.

BUSINESS TRACK STUDENTS:

  • Coordinate all aspects of at least one CMC LIVE show including:

    • stage plots

    • lineup

    • posters

    • run of show

    • transitions/emcee

    • social media / digital media

    • stage management

  • Plan and Execute an end of semester TOUR in one or more of the following capacities:

    • Tour Manager

    • Assistant Tour Manager

    • PR/Marketing

    • Business Management

  • Manages 2-3 artists

  • Build a portfolio for each artist

  • Network through meetings and lectures with industry professionals
